Will I get hurt?
The safety record at MSD is excellent, If you are sparring in kickboxing contact is made, but the intention is on learning not getting hurt.
Is the karate taught in English?
Yes, we teach all the terminology in English, which makes it quicker to learn and retain the information.

Do I have to spar?
Sparring is on specific days so you do not need to attend those sessions, as you progress you will want to try a sparring session, this is a natural progression and you will know when you are ready, sparring will help you to improve your all round skill in kickboxing / mma / muay thai.
How much does it cost per lesson?
Cost per lesson depends on how many times a week you want to train. call the academy or look at memberships in main menu.
How many times can I train?
You can train as much as you like, we have a fantastic training schedule covering all areas of training, the trainers will guide you on how many lessons to start.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we dont have contracts, you pay monthly by direct debit.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course you can bring a friend, training with a friend can help you stay motivated.
I'm not flexible?
Most people are not flexible, you will improve your flexibility when you train regularly, the trainers will help and guide you on stretching.
I'm not very confident?
Thats ok, MSD Evolution is a very friendly academy with people from all different backgrounds and jobs, you will be welcomed and made to feel relaxed.
I'm not fit is that ok?
That is ok, we are here to help you get fit, dont make your lack of fitness a reason not to start training, you get fit by training.
What should I wear?
Any thing that you can move freely in, track suit and tee shirt, shorts, leggins.
